I am happy to work from scanned images emailed as jpeg or tif file attachments, but if you prefer to post your pictures, please send photographic prints (copies) or good quality xerox or laser copies and let me know whether you require their return. Please do not send originals or any item of value, since proof of postage is not proof of my receipt of items sent, and I am afraid that I cannot accept liability for anything which may be lost or damaged in the post.

If you wish, please enclose any background information about your pictures and their subjects (if you know who they are) as this enables me to view them in context and will enhance what I can report back to you. This will not influence my dating of the image. If you hold the original of a photograph, a scan of the reverse is also useful.

Please note that before commencing work I shall require payment, preferably in sterling, by cheque drawn in the UK, made payable to Jayne Shrimpton and sent to the address below. I regret that at this stage I am unable to accept Paypal or other online forms of payment.
